WHAT INK/NIB/PAPER DO YOU USE?
Nibs: I use a variety of nibs including Nikko G, Leonardt Principal and vintage nibs (Musselman, 604EF, Spencerian 1). For gold ink I like Dr. PH Martin’s Copperplate Gold and Finetec palette.
Ink: Walnut ink, iron gall ink and sumi ink.
Paper: I prefer Conquerer paper, Mohawk card and Rhodia/Clairefontaine.

CAN YOU MATCH OUR WEDDING COLORS?
Of course! Colors can be mixed to match your wedding or theme. Custom colors, white, gold and silver ink is an additional $0.50 per envelope/card. There is no cost for black ink.

WE HAVE OUR OWN PRINTER. HOW DOES THIS WORK?
I will supply two calligraphed digital files for you: a high resolution scanned file of the artwork, and a cleaned up version with layers (if applicable). These should be more than enough to work with for your printer and graphic designer. They can also contact me for more info.

CAN YOU MAIL US A PHYSICAL SAMPLE USING OUR STATIONERY?
So sorry, but at the moment I do not offer customized samples. However, I am happy to test your stationery if you are unsure of its compatibility with calligraphy (particularly if you are using shimmery or unusual paper). Just send samples of your paper and your ink color choice with sufficient return postage and I will test it out for you. Better safe than sorry!

WE ARE LATE, COULD YOU STILL DO OUR CALLIGRAPHY?
Depending on availability, an extra 50% fee is required for a rushed job plus express delivery charges. I pride myself on a quick turnaround when needed.

DO YOU DO DEMOS OR NAME WRITING FOR EVENTS?
Of course, just provide me with a covered table and chair and I will handle the rest. Your guests will enjoy their names written live on specially prepared bookmarks during your event. I am available evenings and weekends in Las Vegas. Minimum two hours, please inquire for rates.

DO YOU TEACH LESSONS?
The Las Vegas calligraphy guild and I are working on a beginners Spencerian class in early 2015.
